Big Tree, a prominent Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising provider in Malaysia, has initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavour. And it’s called “Apa Khabar?” or #ApaKhabarBigTree! The primary goal of the outdoor campaign is to foster meaningful connections and raise awareness about mental health.
The outdoor campaign, which translates to “How are you?” in English, is more than just a slogan; it’s a call to action, encouraging Malaysians to reconnect with their loved ones and communities on a deeper level.
Utilising the influence of OOH, Big Tree encourages Malaysians to check in on their loved ones while providing a platform for spreading positive messages visible on the streets of Kuala Lumpur.
Crucially, this outdoor campaign tackles the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Addressing the topic publicly in high-traffic areas throughout the Klang Valley accomplishes this.
The National Health and Morbidity Survey in Malaysia revealed that one in three citizens grapples with mental health challenges. Big Tree acknowledges the importance of shedding light on this social issue and instilling hope through thoughtful and concerted efforts.
As Part Of The Outdoor Campaign,
From October 10 to 31, 2023, Malaysians can showcase their positivity and be spotlighted on Big Tree’s Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) screens. Participants can share an uplifting message alongside a photo of themselves.
Engaging in the contest not only offers a chance for recognition but also promises attractive rewards. Also, twelve chosen winners will enjoy a host of benefits, including their message and image displayed on Big Tree’s DOOH screens.
Additionally, winners will receive a WOWSHOP e-voucher valued at RM50, allowing them to indulge in a shopping spree. Additionally, each winner will receive two complimentary sessions with a mental health specialist, which they can utilize personally or gift to a loved one, offering valuable support and guidance.
